“In a High-IQ job pool, soft skills like discipline, drive and empathy mark those who emerge as outstanding.” – Daniel Goleman

The only sustainable competitive advantage in business is self-awareness. Forward thinking requires EQ as much as skills and IQ.

Many jobs require additional and very human like qualities like communication, empathy, creativity, strategic thinking, questioning and dreaming.

Collectively we often refer to these qualities as “soft skills” - but don’t let the term fool you: These skills are going to be hard currency in the job market as AI and technology take over some of the jobs that can be performed without people.

Studies done by the World Economics Forum show that 90% of top performers are also high in emotional intelligence (EQ). On the flip side, only 20% of bottom performers are high in EQ. You can be a top performer without EQ, but the chances are slim.

People with a high degree of EQ tend to make more money – on average, US$29 000 more per year than people with a low degree of EQ. The link between EQ and earnings is so direct that every point increase in EQ adds US$1 300 to an annual salary. These findings hold true for people across all industries, at all levels, in every region of the world. No job has been found where performance and pay aren’t closely tied to EQ.

Decades of research now point to EQ as the critical factor that sets star performers apart from the rest of the pack.

Human Element workshops and coaching sessions have proven to be powerful in increasing engagement, communication, positive interactions, and collaboration between individuals, within teams, and across  business units.

The process for businesses

With the Enneagram business system, we look at individual’s strengths and challenges, leadership styles, the team’s strain profile and how conflict is handled, how they express themselves and how to give and receive feedback. Knowing all of this unlocks the tools needed for businesses to drive forward as a coherent unit.

Understanding the problem areas within your business, I create a customised package which includes a detailed report on the business, its team players, as well as addressing its inter-dynamics.

Ginnias Roelofsz - New Business Development

“I want to thank you for your help with furthering my journey in self-discovery, personal development and career advancement. It really has been such a wonderful experience.

Jaline is kind and gentle in every way, it made it very easy for me to open up and share the things that I would like to work on as a human at work and personally. She is professional, funny and full of fabulous ideas that I have practised every single day.

Being in sales for 10 years I have been exposed to my fair share of personality testing and psychometrics, however, with the Enneagram, I found it a lot more personal which I loved. Instead of feeling like a lab rat, you have shown me the human element that you have within working in this sphere. I also found it to be the most accurate of all of the tests I have done.

Having this opportunity has given me practical tools to deal with everyday challenges in the life of Gin, it has helped me look at things from different perspectives and it has allowed me to further tap into the wonderful attributes I have that I have always seen as negative, in a positive light. This, in my world, is invaluable knowledge that I will use for the rest of my working career.

I encourage anyone who is searching for more from themselves and a deeper understanding into what makes us each tick, in a work and personal environment, to embark on this journey with Jaline.”

“I did the Enneagram with Jaline through work where she worked on our team members as individuals as well as our team dynamics.

Being in Sales for as long as I can remember I deal with people daily. The key take out has been to better understand myself and that allowed for deeper understanding in my interactions with clients and team members. By strengthening my people skills I have been better able to connect with my team members and more importantly build more beneficial relationships with clients. People buy from People.

I would definitely recommend her to help take anyone to the next level and make life just a bit easier!”
